What is the Titan Digital Oasis?
The Titan Digital Oasis is a joint pilot program between Poway High School and Hewlett Packard. The goal is to create a technology center that fosters innovation, creativity, and collaboration.

Who can use the Oasis?
The Oasis is open to all students, faculty and parents. Parents must check in at the front office first.

What can I do in the Oasis?
The Oasis is a space to explore and create. You can print your photos, create memorable gifts for friends and family, or design something entirely new. The Oasis provides the equipment and expertise; you provide the creativity and inspiration.

What hardware and software is available through the Oasis?
The room is equipped with 7 computer workstations, 5 with Windows XP and 2 with Windows Vista. Each workstation is equipped with Windows XP and loaded with photo and graphic design software including

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Bridge)
• HP Photosmart Essentials
• Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Publisher)

There is also a touchscreen monitor as well as a Dreamcolor monitor useful for high end graphics work.

For simple jobs, HP Photosmart Kiosks are available for quick easy ordering of photos, calendars, photobooks, and posters without having to sit down at a computer.

The room also has several HP printers including

• HP Photosmart (A-size)
• HP Designjet Z3100 44-inch Photo Printer for posters and banners up to 44”
• HP Designjet Z3100 24-inch Photo Printer for posters up to 24”
• HP Edgeline Multifunction Printer for office prints, copies, scans, and faxes.
• HP Photosmart Pro B9180(B-size)

How much does it cost to use the Oasis?
The only cost to use the Oasis is when printing or buying products. Users are encouraged to come in, use the computers to scan in photos or slides, design their own work, edit photos, explore their creativity, and have fun!

Printing and product prices vary by product, and special promotions happen throughout the year. Prices are competitive with other retailers, and the school directly benefits from every sale.
